Call of Duty 4 is being re-mastered on next-gen consoles and judging by the latest screenshots, fans are not going to be disappointed.
After years of listening to CoD fans talk about how they would prefer the franchise to come back to its basics, the game is coming back – but not as a standalone purchase.
The re-mastered version of CoD 4 will be available as part of several Call of Duty: Infinity Warfare bundle deals. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, and judging by these latest comparative screenshots, development is going swimmingly:
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered boasts vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound and much more," says Activision.
It is expected that Activision will release this re-mastered version alongside their newest title, Infinity Warfare, which is set to hit shelves on November 4th.
